With this introductory course, you'll learn how to build databases using various tools, and how to use them to power your websites and online businesses. Recommended for beginners and anyone wanting foundational database knowledge.
By the end of this course, you will:
- Understand what databases are and when you need to use them.
- Be able to choose a database tool based on your needs.
- Have practised building a database in both Airtable and Notion — two popular database tools.
- Build two real-world projects: an upvoting site (like Product Hunt or Rotten Tomatoes) and a resource library.
You can expect to spend 1-3 hours studying the material in this course.
